About Me
While I am not from Down The Road (DTR), I have grown to absolutely love it here! The people,
family and friends, are so welcoming. I wouldn’t want to teach anywhere else. I have been DTR
for 26 years now and I have spent 14 of those years in the Plaquemines Parish School System.
I started out as a substitute at all of the schools DTR, then moved on to be a paraprofessional at
SPES, and finally ended up at BVES as a Teacher for 4th grade.

My priority at BVES will always be at my very best to our students, parents, and community. It
has always been my goal to ensure that all students I teach or encounter leave me feeling
accomplished, loved, and equal at all times. I look forward to continuing my teaching career with
PPSB for as long as I am able!
