The Boothville-Venice Jr. Beta Club attended the Beta Leadership Summit in Baton Rouge in October 2017.
BVES Club officers qualified as 2017-2018 National Qualifier in Lead Outside The Box competition.

Tyler Vong competed and qualified as a Leadership Representative at the Leadership Summit.
The Boothville-Venice Jr. Beta Club competed at the Jr. Beta State Convention in Lafayette in February 2018. Annie Hotard placed 5th in 4th grade Math academic competition and Mason McGuire placed 3rd in 4th grade Social Studies academic competition. Mason will be traveling to Savannah, Georgia to compete at the Jr. Beta National Convention in June 2018. Boothville-Venice Elementary School also was awarded 2017-2018 Outstanding Leadership School.
