On September 4, 2025 our school community came together to honor students at the Terrific Kids Ceremony, a special event recognizing children who consistently show positive character, kindness, and a commitment to doing their best.
Sponsored by the Kiwanis Club, the Terrific Kids program highlights students who demonstrate respect, responsibility, and a caring spirit both in and out of the classroom. Teachers selected honorees for their hard work, perseverance, and positive attitude toward learning. A huge thank you to Chevron and representative, Mr. Robby Robinson, Stolthaven and representatives Ms. Michelle Alonso and Ms. Chantel Wallace and Ms. Lou Duplantier for their sponsorship and attendance at our ceremony.
Families, classmates, staff and district level supervisors Ms. Jamie Blanchard, Mr. Ronald Bateman, Ms. Paula Tesvich gathered to celebrate each recipient as they were presented with certificates, a shirt, a yard sign and words of encouragement. Smiles, applause, and a true sense of pride filled the room as each child’s efforts were recognized.
The Terrific Kids Ceremony reminds us that success is not only about grades, but also about character and making a difference in the school community. Congratulations to all of our Terrific Kids—Cynai Black, Blake Bochner, Haze Seth, Kyndall Granger, Brielle Billiot, Reed Ragas, Jesus Morales Rojas, Michelle To, Mason Peoples, Carlos Molina, Brody Cheramie, Gavin Ragas, Kole Dillard, Angelina Perez, Syncere Smith.
