On Saturday, April 5th, BVES’s Student Council, along with their sponsors Ms. Paula Wilson & Ms. Adrienne Reyes, participated in Love the Boot Week — Louisiana’s biggest litter cleanup and beautification effort!
From picking up litter to planting flowers, our students rolled up their sleeves to take care of our school and community and protect our beautiful state. Our stats: 9 volunteers, 27 total hours, over 45 plants planted and 7 trash bags of trash collected. Our students did an amazing job!
