On Monday, November 18th, the 6th-grade students at Boothville-Venice Elementary School were treated to an entertaining and educational performance by the National Theatre for Children in collaboration with Entergy Solutions. The show, titled Energy Game Changers, was designed to teach students about the importance of energy efficiency and conservation in a fun and engaging way.
The live performance blended humor, storytelling, and interactive elements to capture the students’ attention while delivering valuable lessons about energy. The skits featured a dynamic pair portraying relatable characters who explored everyday energy use and introduced creative solutions to reduce energy waste. Energy Game Changers not only entertained, but also inspired students to make small changes at home and in their daily routines to help protect the environment.
Students were actively involved throughout the performance, participating in activities, a game show, and Q&A sessions. Students and staff members also received an Energy Academy energy efficiency kit that included LED light bulbs, weather stripping foam tape, a water-saving shower head, a bathroom faucet aerator, and a kitchen faucet aerator. It was a great experience for us all.
