During Fire Prevention week, the Buras Fire Department visited students at BVES. They learned how to prevent fires and how to respond in the event of a fire.
Students interacted with Sparky and firefighters, toured the fire truck, and were introduced to how a firefighter looks in their gear so that they would know help has arrived.
