The Boothvile Venice Jr. Beta Club competed in the Louisiana Vitual State Elementary/Junior Convention in March and placed in several competitions. The winners will be competing in the National Beta Elementary/Junior Convention in Orlando, Florida June 28-July 2, 2021. Shylen Prout placed first in black & white photography plus Best In Show. McKenzie Devillier first place in painting. Jozlyn Buras placed fourth in color photography. Addison McGuire fourth place in sculpture in the junior division and first place in trading pin. Brennen Blakney first place in the sculpture elementary division. Mia Matthews, Bella Blakney, Emmie Serpas, and Addison McGuire qualied in the Lead Outside the Box competition and Ariyaih Phorn, Mackenzie Parker, Kolie Johnson, Kim Diaz, and Treasure Taing qualified in Rapid Response at the Leadership Summit and will be competing as well in the National Convention.
