On Wednesday, May 20th, Boothville-Venice Elementary School held their annual Kiddieland and 6th grade ceremonies by hosting a drive-through celebration for the students. Parents of Head Start, Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 6th grade students decorated their vehicles with balloons and signs in recognition of their children. Faculty and staff members lined the driveway of the school to cheer for the students as their principal, Maria Prout announced their names while their teachers handed out certificates and special gifts. South Plaquemines High School Principal, Lori Gagnon along with Assistant Principal, Trichina Williams and Disciplinarian, David Dickson attended the celebration to congratulate the 6th graders and welcome them to the Hurricane family.
