BVES Celebrates Thanksgiving!
Boothville-Venice Elementary School recently had the pleasure of hosting two very popular events that celebrated the tradition of Thanksgiving.
On Friday, November 14th, over three hundred parents and grandparents accompanied students to the cafeteria during their lunch time. Students from Head Start through Sixth Grade were thankful to spend time with family while enjoying a delicious Thanksgiving feast prepared by the cafeteria staff.
On Thursday, November 21st, “KiddieLand” had their annual Thanksgiving Dinner in the gym. Head Start, Pre-K and Kindergarten students invited loved ones to a lunch that was prepared by volunteers from each classroom. Tables were dressed in Thanksgiving décor and many colorful turkey handprints as well as other student-made items added a special touch to the scene.
BVES is truly thankful and blessed with a wonderful community that is always willing to support our school and our students.
