Boothville-Venice Elementary School Sixth Graders Bid Farewell at Their Promotion Ceremony
The Boothville-Venice Elementary School Sixth Grade Promotion Ceremony proved to be a celebration filled with dreams and promising futures, as six grade students bid farewell to the school that has been their second home for many years.
On May 17, 2019, forty-six sixth graders, their parents and relatives, teachers, administrators, and many more celebrated these students in the BVES gymnasium. At the ceremony, students were presented with certificates recognizing their completion and achievements at BVES. Sixth grade teachers, Lee Blakney and Paige Sylve, addressed the sixth grade students with words of encouragement and praise.
The principal, Maria Prout, closed the celebration by reminding students of the hard work and determination they displayed over the years.
