"Celebrating Diversity Many Cultures, One Nation"

Boothville-Venice Elementary School presented it’s 2019 annual Black History Program on Thursday,  February 28, 2019.  The theme this year was “Celebrating Diversity, Many Cultures, One Nation”. The program was organized by Mrs. Le’Trinda Williams and Ms. Rachelle Cyprian, School Counselor. The program featured skits from students from Headstart - 6th grade, with special presentations from Mrs. Jeanette Prout and Jozlyn Murry of “Phenomenal Women”, the Kindergarten class and Ms. Romain McCarthy signing the entire song Blackbird by the Beatles, and our very own BVE Choir sung Tomorrow by Tevin Campbell.

Additionally, to our annual program we hosted a month long door decorating contest where they were able to show off diversity, cultures, and one nation, where we had three winners that were presented at the annual Black History Program.
