Boothville-Venice Elementary gets a New Flag

On Wednesday, April 20, 2016.  The Boothville-Venice Volunteer Fire Department donated a new flag to the school.  The school did not have a flag due to harsh weather conditions  eroding the rope and flag.  Chief Ray Carter, President Christopher Creppel Sr., on duty PPFD Lt. Benny Bacas, Ryan Thayer, Lance Barrios and Kathy Carter visited the school in the fire trucks to personally donate the flag to W. Neely and C. Ragas. Mrs. Prout, principal was excited to help with the celebration.  The fire department, as always, has a strong presence in the community.  They assist  the school during Fire Prevention month as well as other activities.  Hooray to the Boothville-Venice Volunteer Fire Department and School Board member Chuck Soileau for saving the day.
