Boothville-Venice Elementary Receives donation for SWPBIS

On Wednesday, April 8, 2015.  Mr. Tony Frickey and Mr. George Pivach, III of the Venice Port Complex, delivered bundles of prizes for Boothville-Venice's School-Wide Positive Behavior Intervention Support program.  SWPBIS is school-wide system of support that include proactive strategies for defining, teaching, and supporting appropriate student behaviors to create a positive school environment. Boothville-Venice's Behavior Expectations are:  Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe.  Students can receive Derrick Dollars and incentives daily, weekly, and quarterly.  Every nine weeks BVES holds a Principal's Party as a part of SWPBIS to reward the students who meet the expectations.  Students receive snacks and drinks, play games and dance, and have an opportunity to win a large prize from the drawing.  Thanks to Mr. Frickey and Mr. Pivach, BVES will have a very successful fourth nine weeks Principal's Party.
