Boothville-Venice Elementary School Receives 1,083 Books

On Wednesday, November 6, 2013, Mr. Jim Selin and Ms. Shannon DiGenova delivered 1,083 books to Bootvhville-Venice Elementary School. The students of BVES were ecstatic! The librarian, Gaynel Baham displays the free books on a table outside library. Students, as well as parents, are encouraged to take books home so they are able to read, read, read, and read well. This is an awesome opportunity and places a book in all students hands and help them build a reading library at home. Lieracy is so important and it is the philosophy of Books To Kids to promote literacy by placing books in the hands of kids who need them. Books To Kids has been delivering books to the Gulf Coast areas since Hurricane Katrina.
